Taiga Bluet Damselfly
(I am nearly positive of my identification because of the green and the size of the eyespots)

  1. Great capture, Andrée. I have lousy luck photographing damselflies. My camera usually won't auto focus on them and it's manual focus is useless as far as I'm concerned.

  2. I love these.. just of late I have had the pleasure to see many of these beautifly creatures... but only through my blogging. Excellent captures and I love the size of it's eyes.

  3. They are beautiful and like Marvin I don't have much luck photographing them. We must have a similar fuzzy camera. the Bluet Damsel is our state insect. MB

  4. I've been scrolling and scrolling through your photos and each time I think I'm ready to leave a comment, I see something else I want to spend time with. Your macro work is beautiful, and I'm impressed that you know all the correct names. I have no head for that stuff. I need people like you to tell me what I've just photographed. Thanks.
