Unidentified

Unidentified 6 petal wildflower-1.jpg
Yellow, six petal wildflower on single stem, about two feet tall.

I've spent too much time trying to identify this flower and these snails. I am baffled as to why I can't identify the wildflower because we have many excellent guides. But the snail . . . . the Internet is the worst place for identifying them. When are the terrestrial gastropod specialists going to write a comprehensive, regional, understandable guide to identifying them? Can you help out? Please leave a comment if you know the genus and species of these. Thank you.

A Tiny Wildflower

Unidentified. This very small purple flower grows alone or in groups. Tall, slender stem. But I have seen it short, also. Maybe somebody who sees this will know what it is.

Ox-eye Daisy (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum)

For Hummie, with thanks. I used all manual settings for this photo and it is better than any of the other shots I took of this blossom with the factory settings. I am beginning to understand. I think the center yellow could be better focused.
