American Toad

This big toad enjoys sitting outside the garage doors and eating moths. The moths like to hang out around the garage doors because of a light there. This photo was taken in the middle of July, but now, the last week of September, he is still there enjoying himself. He is much bigger. I haven't been able to get a recent photo of him yet! The American toad is one of only two species of toads that are native to Vermont.
