Mouse's June Bug

This is Mouse, the matriarch of the house (orphaned at 3 weeks and delivered to me in the pocket of a paraprofessional at school in Hartford who knew I would not say "no").

This is a June bug (also called May beetle) that got into the house one night this week. There are zillions of them at night now. They like to fly into your hair. They throw themselves onto the screens, sounding just like the cats when they knock on the screens to come in.

Mouse likes to play with bugs.
Look at that amazing fur on the belly of the bug.

June bug is sorta discombobulated.
When clicked, these photos will open, full size, in a new window.
