I went to Craftsbury, Vermont on Saturday to visit a sugarhouse (see the post here) when I saw this view of Mt. Mansfield which is in Stowe, Vermont. When clicked, this photo will open, full size, in a new window. Mt. Mansfield is Vermont's highest peak (4393 feet or 1339 meters).
Will it be washed away by the thawing Lake Champlain?
ReplyDeleteAndree, as always, that is a stunning shot of beautiful Vermont.
I admire your talent
I have made a habit of commenting first on the person who was listed right before me and guess who that was today! So, this is Vermont? Rolling hills and vistas. Lovely, lovely. Reminds me of somewhere. *grin*
ReplyDeleteOur tallest peak in Georgia is Brasstown Bald at 4784 but yours is much prettier! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteA great panorama! That peak in the centre offsets the rise just to the right of it very well.

Thanks for taking a 'tiny jaunt' over to my blog. I'm so pleased that I returned the favour. What a stunning view! Once upon a time (before children) I spent as much of my free time as possible climbing snow covered mountain. This one looks both enticing and a little intimidating. Have a great week.

ReplyDeleteHey, Andree,
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the Litchfield bank on the green. Courthouse is just across the street. I wonder where Barney and Andy hang out. I'll have to go lookin' next time!
It's always a pleasure to come back to your photos.
God bless.
Beautiful landscape :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful landscape shot here. Great photo.
ReplyDeleteI am so warped. At first, I see a breathtaking view, but then I notice that the hill in the center looks like it has a crew cut with male pattern baldness. Hah!
ReplyDeleteNow I know why you liked my flowers so much with ALL that snow around! I liked your sugar snow and the icicles. Wonderful photography!
