Yellow Woolly Bear

Yellow woolly bear caterpillar
Spilosoma virginica

This caterpillar is called a yellow woolly bear here. It is actually the larva of the Virginia Tiger Moth, seen below (photo from bugguide.net). You can click on the photo to learn all about this moth.
