Polygonia interrogationis
The Question Mark Butterfly is only in the eastern United States and Canada. In the photograph below, you will see why this is called a question mark butterfly. There is that "unique silver question mark shape" (bugguide.net) on the underside of the hindwing. There is also a comma butterfly! It is also orange and black but has a comma under the hindwing.
