Limenitis arthemis

We had a lot of white admiral butterflies this summer. They have the most interesting larva (seen above). I have never seen these caterpillars here, but obviously they must be here. Click on the photo to view it larger. They are very well camouflaged, so I'll be looking carefully next year!
