A Little Jumping Spider

I almost sat on this tiny (less than 1 inch long) spider! We were visiting friends in Sutton, New Hampshire. But I grabbed the camera and took the photographs. I never squished him. He jumps! And below, it looks like he (it is a male) is looking right at me, pondering if I’m worth the effort to gnaw on.  Bugguide.net description is here.

    Beautiful photos! That second one is kinda freaky, with all those eyes looking at the camera.

    Oh! I do like these photos. Great looking spider. My daughter would faint but I think he/she is quite the handsome spider.
