Camera Critters: Frisky Horses

My neighbor's horses were feeling frisky in the spring air a week ago. This was a good attempt with my new Canon Rebel with action shots. I probably should have used the sports setting but wasn't thinking. When clicked, these photos will open, full size, in a new window.

Thank you so much for visiting!

  1. Those are great action shots! How do you like your Rebel? I'm getting one later this month for my birthday.

  2. GREAT action shots! I LOVE horses, they are so beautiful. OK, fine, I'll admit it, I LOVE ALL critters hehe - yes, I'm an addict (that would be why I started CC hehe).

I see you participate in many photography memes. I'll have to send you an e-mail and ask you to tell me a bit about each one and 'privately' which ones you enjoy the most, etc. If you don't mind.

But *eh hem* my dear friend... there is NO CC badge in there with the other photography memes :-( Don't worry, I'm not pouting too much... ;-) Really, I'll get over it - it's ok ;-)

  3. Oh … I love the ‘frisky horses’ photos so very much and (occasionally) wish I lived where I could see this kind of behavior first-hand. Thanks for sharing.

My Camera Critter photo collage is at Small Reflections and hope you'll stop by to see my 'inquisitive visitor' there.

Happy Mothers Day to you ... hope it's the best ever!
    Hugs and blessings,

  6. WOW! What fun!

I love seeing pix of horses. Did one of my master's theses on the social behavior of free-ranging appaloosas out in Idaho.
