I stood in the middle of the road (after John plowed across the road) and faced east on Route 16
That is our house on the left.
It snowed for 24 hours and the plow did not come until after the storm was over.
We got three feet of snow with much more in drifts.
Facing east on Route 16.
John had to plow the road in order to plow out the mailbox. There was no other traffic, except an occasional snow machine, for almost two days.
This is where you have to be during a storm— in our neighborhood — cozy, warm and together.

I have SO MUCH enjoyed seeing all of your storm photos of Barton. I wasn't up there for any of the snow this winter, and I missed seeing it. Thanks for taking me there!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol. It was a great couple of days being housebound without anything to do except what we wanted to do.
