Mouse-ear Hawkweed

Mouse-ear Hawkweed
Hieracium pilosella

This plentiful wildflower looks almost like dandelions and blooms in late summer and throughout the fall. I have seen it blossom in the snow. It attracts all kinds of bees and butterflies.

  1. I've got an orange version which I treasure. I pulled one from a patch of them in the "wild", and it has seeded itself around quite nicely (not too aggressively, but enough to know they're established now).
