May's Full Flower Moon

Full Flower Moon
At the time of the Full Flower Moon — which is May in most areas — the flowers are abundant everywhere during this time. Thus, the name of this Moon. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon. (source: Farmer's Almanac). Taken on May 26, 2010. I assume that the color of the moon was because of the Quebec forest fires. We were having hazy, even smoky, days and spectacular sunsets.

  1. We have a name for it but it isn't the same. I asked Patty what it was and she couldn't remember either. So now we will have to look it up.
