Silvery Cinquefoil

Potentilla argentea
We've noticed that many plants are called cinquefoil. This is one that has five yellow petals on a creeping woody vine. According to invasive.org, it is an invasive species. This photo was taken below the Blackwater Dam but we have it growing at home, also.

  1. Not only invasive, but also pervasive (in one variety or another.) Excellent DOF getting both the bloom and foliage in focus.
