Sky Watch Friday: Burke Mountain Rainstorm

I took a class this week in Lyndon Center at Lyndon Institute. There have been record-breaking amounts of rain for weeks so the clouds have been spectacular. Here is Burke Mountain in Burke, Vermont, as seen from Lyndon Institute. A large rainstorm enveloped the mountain. This photo was processed in Photomatix with exposure blending.

    this is an amazing photo. It reminds me of a cemetary in Block Island. Beautiful!

    No Rain to speak of here.
    We could use some but there calling for dry lighting which isn't good because they can start forest fires.

    What a gorgeous panoramic vista and sky - I love the range of moods across the sky. This is an exquisite photo. I have missed you at OSI. Kept meaning to come by and say that but never quite did.
