  9. So glad you left your link. This is a great shot. Very stark but interesting. Living in Florida, we don't get a chance to see the winter storm skies. Everyone is talking about spring. We down here have not really had much winter this year. Last week was so warm, you'd think it was early May.

  11. Great! Just enough colour so that it isn't B & W.

Thank you for you own comment! The picture was taken January 21 2008, at approximately 60 degrees latitude North - in a small forest about 20 km from where I live.

PS A mathematics teacher just had to like Tom Lehrer :-) I haven't heard anything from him for ages.

  12. I love your images. There's something about a New England winter scene--not Christmas but winter--that is both stark and inviting to me. Your photos appeal to me in the way that Hopper's paintings do. They have the spirit of the place.

Thanks for stopping by today and letting me know this was up.

  13. To me there is just something serene about old barns, especially if they are a bit run down and covered in snow. Thanks for stopping by.

  29. Beautiful picture. I love old barns and houses. Fuels the imagination. Thanks for visiting my blog. As for the sun roof snapshot, I just hold my camera out of the sunroof, point it in the general direction and start clicking. When I get home or to work, I can't wait to see what I captured on the camera!
