Lissa and Sandy, this was a challenge...no, not a difficulty, a poem written because Andree said to. She said, "Haiku! Ink! Do it!" and naturally I could not refuse her "request." She then made up this wonderful posting to "frame" my poem, and that is our story. Thank you both for coming so quickly to see it!
Just getting back to you on your comment on my blog. I'd be game! If you want to put it out there on the ODB blog or whatever, go ahead. Do whatever and I'll be around to do my whatever. Good night!

words and image flow quite nicely together. there's a bit of sadness and hope in your words.
Michael and Andree,
I don't know how to type my nod right now. This is so dead on there's nothing to say beyond thank you. So thank you both.
God bless.

Wow....Lovely....both the image and the Haiku!
Your tears shall be answered! Incredibly said in such few words.
You've made some great links there - between ink and blood, ink drops and tears. This one really works.
a perfect capture of love's sorrow & longing
I think attributing human emotion to the quill really works here. lovely.
