Except for a few pockets the red squirrel has been almost completely ousted in the UK by the grey squirrel - I posted one last week on Hyde DP and more on Ackworthborn My wife calls them tree-rats. They are always about in my neighbours garden robbing his bird-feeders.

Thank you...today I learnt there is many colors for squirrel.
