Sky Watch Friday: Sunset
Sunset last weekend as seen from the road in front of my house looking west. Barton Village is down that road. This was the last day of sun we have had. It has been snowing, icing and foggy ever since. I was standing too low on the road so that you can't see the mountains in the west, or the beaver ponds, very well.

Lovely skywatch photo! I love the pinks in the clouds!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset! I'm sure you folks up there get tired of all that snow but it looks like something special to those of us in the south who don't see much.
ReplyDeleteNow the day is over...peaceful and still.
ReplyDeleteThat's very definitely winter :) Amazing icicles on the photo below. I keep waiting for winter here -- any excuse not to have to go out until spring. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky picture but I am more excited to see the snow. We do not get much snow in Georgia.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful Sky watch photo, great photos you take.
ReplyDeleteI, too, enjoyed your sunset but my first love is snow so you know I really enjoyed it!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWish I could show snow this week too but no such luck. After lots of rain, we finally had a dry dry when I took my photos early one evening before dark
Looks eery and deserted.
ReplyDeleteNice skywatch, you gonna have a white Chrismas, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Cold here too. Came across some snow today! Great to be all nice and warm now though!
ReplyDeleteWow, look at all the snow! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful winter sunset!
ReplyDeleteJust like in my country - Norway. We doesn't have snow now, but just wait and see!
