Sky Watch Friday Rainbow

Photographed today while driving home from work on Route 16, two miles from my house. Haystack Mountain is to the right of the rainbow. You can see the rain falling from the clouds. A cold front is coming in. We may have snow showers in the next three days. I am still coming home and going straight to bed. I apologize for not visiting everybody.

When clicked, this photo will open, full size, in a new window.

  4. Usually, I'm not a big fan of nature photography but a good rainbow is damn hard to get. Your excellent composition with the dark, earth-bound foreground enhances the effect.
