I am almost positive these are rabbit tracks in the snow next to the house. Two years ago, there was a snowshoe hare living under the barn in winter, and these tracks are like miniature hare tracks. Can anyone confirm this?By the way, if any of my kids are reading this, I could use one of everything on this web site because of the many tracks that are around me all winter.

ReplyDeleteHi Bill . . . it's four and a half months later and I finally agree with you. I have seen thousands of red squirrel tracks this winter, and now I agree these are red squirrel. Not exotic at all! Thank you for the clue: it nagged at me all winter!
