Trees with these flowers are blooming all over the foresst of northern Vermont. This is from one of the many trees blossoming in my woods. We think this is pin cherry (
Prunus pensylvanica) but we cannot confirm this. An Internet search of pin cherry blossoms returns photos of this flower and photos of completely different flowers. But all of us up here call these trees wild cherry.
