Pink Lady's Slippers

Cypripedium acaule
The state wildflower of the State of New Hampshire.

For my birthday, John bought me my long lens — a Canon 55-250mm. We then went to New Hampshire for the day to visit friends and do some business. And it was the day that the lady slippers bloomed. We found hundreds of them, but this was my favorite shot with the yellow flowers at the base of the stem.
