This is my bird tree — a flowering crab — outside the living room window. I hang all my bird feeders here in the winter. Last season, it snowed the first two weeks of May, but this year the weather seems to have been just right for the flowers. This was photographed on May 26, and a day or two later we had huge wind and rain storms that beat all of the blossoms off of the tree.
