The River Road

The dirt River Road on the Missisquoi River, Troy, Vermont

From a website that tries to help other folks understand Vermont roads and directions:
Computer map programs and GPS systems may work great in urban areas but they don't work so well on our serpentine rural Vermont roads. Many of our roads have several names. Some of our roads go in different directions but not at the same intersection. Our physical street addresses, created for 911 purposes, often are not in sequential order. Please consult the directions above and do not rely exclusively on modern technology to find your way.

  1. This scene is my idea of home in the wilderness. The road is just an extra requirement. I like this shot and I think there are lots of places like this in the states. West Virginia is one.

    Beautiful photo.

  2. WoW snow lost what a super snow scene.

come and see the 2 pathways of life.

  3. Great snow shot

I'd like to take this chance to wish you a very merry Christmas. I might not get the chance to comment here again before so just in case... Have a great festive time and keep safe.

  4. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May our world this coming year, and all the years to come, be blessed with peace, love, joy and bountiful blessings.
